Welcome to the warriors of music page. It's the small corner of the show dedicated to those making real music. It's all here from major acts to old classics and more importantly the great unsigned. The only criteria being that it just aint getting enough airplay for whatever reason. You need it in your life and its here. Ladies and gentlemen I give you. The Warriors Of Music.
Discovered as a youthful soul prodigy by Paul Morley in the late 90s, Lee Griffiths was signed swiftly to ZTT Records in 1990's. 'Northern Songs', produced by Trevor Horn, followed, but views on what Lee's music was about, were radically different. Lee returned to civilian life in North Manchester, writing what in 2007 became his stunning second album, ‘Armchair Anarchy’ (produced by Ian Grimble). The album was featured by BBC radio 6 and BBC radio 2 among others and Lee gigged extensively, also supporting Marc Almond on his tour in the same year.
There are some acts that sneak up on you totally unanounced but leave a huge impression.
